Frequently Asked Questions

The wedding film will be between four and eight minutes long. This is entirely dependent on how many usable footage I have taken, if there are any vows, and how the music fits in.

Music is very important because it sets the mood of the wedding film. You can make suggestions of music that suits you and then I will choose which songs fit nicely in the wedding film. In most cases this will be royalty-free music.

Do you want to place the wedding film online? Then royalty-free music has to be chosen.
The royalty-free music is included in the price and ensures that you can and may share the wedding film everywhere (on social media, for example).

Yes please! After a long day of work where I have to stay alert constantly to capture the right moments, I would love to be able to eat and then go back to work full of energy. Of course it does not have to be a 5-course dinner, a meal at a separate table (separate from the group) would be perfect.

For 10 hours, I am present to capture the most beautiful moments. If needed, I offer the option to book additional hours, up to a total of 14 hours. This allows you to enjoy every second of your special day with complete peace of mind, knowing that every important moment will be documented.

I do not provide individual files, but I deliver all usable footage captured on your wedding day in the form of a long video.

The reason for this is that I shoot a lot of footage on your wedding day, on average between 300 and 500 separate files, which is roughly equivalent to 400/600 GB of memory. In addition, most computers cannot run the heavy file type that the raw footage has. And the raw footage comes out of the camera 'flat' and thus has hardly any color. See below what that means.

So I make a selection of the usable footage and deliver it with a small color correction, remember that this is raw footage that I haven't done anything to. Footage may be jerky, audio too loud and/or too soft or there is no sound at all.

Please note! The raw footage are absolutely not allowed to be distributed via any media (like social media for example).

The raw footage that come straight from my cinema camera have a log profile (flat). This ensures that the maximum is extracted from the dynamic range and thus as much data as possible in the highlights and shadows is preserved, so that a lot can be recovered during color correction.
In the example below you can see the before and after of the color correction (slide the arrows back and forth).

I will make sure that I "blend in" with the audience and adapt to the dress code. It is important to me that it is neat clothing in which I can move well. You don't have to worry about me plastering myself with advertisements of my own company.

It is important that I can put enough time into the editing. I strive to deliver the wedding film within eight weeks, but sometimes it can take longer. In that case I will keep you informed on how long the post-editing will take.

I do this digitally through the client area. As soon as the wedding film is finished I will give you a unique login code that you can enter into the client area. On this page you can download the files and view the wedding film.

  • Desktop: Click on the Client button at the top right of the screen to go to the login page.
  • Mobile: Press the menu button on the bottom right of your screen and then press the Client button at the bottom of the screen to go to the login page.

I will send the invoices for the payment in two terms to you.

As soon as you have signed the quotation, a down payment of 20% of the total price will follow to confirm the booking. The second invoice with the remaining amount will be sent once the wedding film is finished and needs to be paid within 14 days. As soon as I have received full payment, you will receive the login code from me for the client area where you can view and download the files.
